Methods of shipping
Call your nearest FSM location and ask for our courier account
number and pre-printed weigh bills.
In many cases FSM has negotiated attractive shipping rates
with our couriers and we would like to pass these savings
on to our customers.
Packaging
Gear is usually shipped in a cardboard carton. If the gear
is contaminated place it in a clear plastic bag before placing
it in the box.
Some couriers will accept nylon shipping bags (hockey type).
Ask your local FSM facilities for best packaging methods.
Turn Around Time
Normal turn around time from date of shipping to date of return
is 4-5 working days. From some locations and certain methods
of transportation, or when extensive work is required on your
gear it may take little longer.
Return Address
Many departments are not full time and often there is no one
there to receive the gear at the hall. As a suggestion, send
a return address such as a local business or municipal office
address where the gear can be shipped.
